Mira Rao
I design calm software for people who have too many tabs open.
I started as a junior designer redrawing invoice screens, and never quite stopped caring about the unglamorous parts of a product: the empty states, the error messages, the third step of an onboarding flow nobody tests.
These days I lead design for a small team building scheduling tools for clinics. I spend most of my week in research calls and most of my weekend sketching on paper, which is where the better ideas still come from.
Outside work I photograph old post offices, run a small letter-writing club, and am slowly learning to make good filter coffee.
